Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Local Organic Rhubarb- a seasonal favorite at our home!   Strawberry Rhubarb pie is my husband's favorite!

Rhubarb with some dehydrated cane juice

Mix in Strawberries,  Add a tablespoon or so of arrowroot powder to thicken as it bakes.

Make flakey pie crust (most flakey with unbleached flour, I used half sprouted whole wheat...and it was not so flakey!) 

Cover with top of pie crust and bake at 350-375 for about an hour or until the pie juices start oozing. Make sure you place the pie on a cookie sheet in the oven.
